It’s the Sheffield Youth Voice Event on Wednesday 8 July, focused on preventing serious violence and keeping young people safe.
This is a really important opportunity for young people to come together, share their experiences, and help shape what happens next across the city. A lot of engagement has already happened — this session is about moving from listening into action, with young people influencing the Preventing Serious Violence Strategy and Action Plan.
From a Northeast perspective, it’s really important we have strong representation, so our communities’ voices and experiences are heard.
It’s a relaxed, interactive session (not presentations), with food provided and space for young people to talk, connect, and share ideas.
If you’re able to bring a group, it would be great to see Northeast young people well represented.
